Trekking Horton Plains

Horton Plains National Park is one of Sri Lanka’s most breathtaking natural attractions, located in the central highlands at an elevation of over 2,000 meters. Known for its cool climate, misty landscapes, and rich biodiversity, the park is home to famous landmarks such as World’s End, Mini World’s End, and Baker’s Falls.

The scenic walking trail takes you through cloud forests and open grasslands, offering stunning views, fresh mountain air, and chances to spot wildlife such as sambar deer, birds, and endemic plant species. Early morning visits are highly recommended for the best visibility.
