Wilpattu Safari

Discover Sri Lanka’s largest and most unspoiled wilderness with our private Wilpattu Safari, offering an exclusive wildlife experience in a powerful Toyota Hilux 4x4 safari jeep. Each jeep comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests, ensuring a spacious and personalized adventure.

Guided by a licensed, English-speaking naturalist, you’ll explore the iconic villus (natural lakes) and dense forests that make Wilpattu one of the best places in the world to spot leopards, elephants, sloth bears, and an incredible diversity of birds.

We offer three safari options to suit your schedule:

Morning Safari: 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Afternoon Safari: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

Full Day Safari: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Please note: Entrance tickets are not included. We will inform you the ticket prices and tickets must be purchased at the park entrance, and your guide will assist you with the process.

Safari Schedule

• Pickup from hotel (within 3 km of the Wilpattu entrance): around 5:30 AM

• Arrival at Wilpattu Park Entrance: 6:00 AM
